After all of our arrangements were set, we decided---well I decided, that I can't make the trip. I cannot physically do it. It's at least a 6 hour drive and I have to face the truth. My back's been getting worse...I can hear the bones in my back more frequently when I walk and the pain shooting down through my legs also occurs more often than it used to. The longest that I can sit in the car is about 20 minutes before things REALLY start to get uncomfortable even with meds, so I don't know how I thought that I was going to make the trip.
I really need to be there...I should really be there and I can't. It's disappointing. We're all disappointed, but there's just nothing that I can do. I'm sorry.
