I really wish I had the time to blog more. I love to write and document feelings, events, finds, etc., but I haven't found a way to focus on my Ethan, my older kids & my husband, and find some time for myself. It's funny how we tend to take advantage of time while growing up, and yet it becomes so precious to us when we're adults. I know I've said it before, but I WILL make an effort to blogStaci with an "i"http://www.blogger.com/profile/07840680590168406018noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9648476.post-66087046370905931202010-07-15T13:43:00.000-07:002010-07-15T13:56:13.146-07:00Catching UpWow! So much has changed since I've last blogged two years ago! My older kids are now almost an 8th and 5th grader, and I've also had a new baby since then! My baby Ethan turned 16 weeks yesterday and is more cute, cuddly and lovable than I could have ever imagined. My life is consumed more than ever with my family, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I do hope to blog more often when time Staci with an "i"http://www.blogger.com/profile/07840680590168406018noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9648476.post-61030183824579668852008-10-24T11:57:00.001-07:002008-10-24T12:16:51.268-07:00Dessert Recipe: Snickerdoodle PieI made two of these yesterday...one for Tyler's cakewalk at the kid's Harvest Festival and the other for us to try, because you can't send a new recipe anywhere without trying it first, right? ;) It was soooo good and the aroma coming out of my kitchen yesterday was amazing! The recipe is a little involved, but so worth it. Got there at midnight and ironically left there at noon on Monday. (What's with the number 12?) I guess my body wanted a hospital practice run before May 4th. Actually, I had a new pain...a different pain from my usual back troubles. This one was still in my back, but off to my right side and wrapped its way around towards the front. When it comes to certain stores or websites, there is no such thing as a small purchase for me. It is just impossible for me to go in, buy one thing, and get out. My family doesn't know this, but I've been pretty home sick lately. We haven't been home to Hawaii since 1998 and being that my brother, sister and their families are still living there, not to mention close friends that I grew up with in that island paradise, it gets harder to be away as the years go by.
